He's not he is woeful.

His career has fallen apart after some real early promise. If he plays as well for Wakey as he did for Wigan then they're in trouble. His worst point is his defence but he isn't even average in terms of a running game and his kicking is pretty poor.

He throws the odd decent pass and thats about all I can say positive about him. He exactly the sort of second rater superleague clubs should be staying clear of but I fear we'll see more of as the NRL salary cap raises.

I've gotta agree I saw him play for Wigan a few times and he was dreadful , he was a turnstile in defence and he did nothing in attack. One the least impressive 'star' players ive ever seen.

I always liked tim smith when he first came through for parramatta but then he seemed to lose head with all his off field issues.
Never watched him have a good game for wigan though unfortunatly.

If his head is right then he can get back but he needs the support- kear would have been great for him. Problem is I fear it is just another paycheck he is after for lets face it an easier in some ways occupation.

I think we expected him to be far better then he was. We were expecting the Tim Smith that broke through at Parra but what we got was a lad who's had big problems and just isn't the same player.

Tim Smith is the worst defender I have EVER seen play, not just for Wigan, but for ANY professional RL side. Atrocious.

We then have Lincoln Withers and Ryan O'hara who got dispensation from the RFL with the Crusaders mess. And Rhys Lovegrove who is technically Australian but counts on our Home-grown list due to the age when he signed for Rovers and being eligible for our academy teams. So we have 11. It would have being 9 as without Crusaders going bust we'd not have signed O'Hara and Withers.

I think you've read it wrong. Those guys listed are the players taking up the 5 spots. So Blake Green is NOT fed trained.

So the answer to the actual question would be 13!!!

Wakey are hardly blazing a trail in the opposite direction either.

Are the KR fans generally embarrassed by these antics? Or is this bending of every rule something the club are applauded for?

It's not their fault, apparently.

They've only had 100 years to get a proper youth system in place and develop their own talent.

I guess if they storm the league next year, all's justified. The club just appears to operate in a very 'Up-Yours' kinda way. I don't know if this courts favour or criticism from their own?

Poor by HKR that.

They're doing exactly what I fear more clubs will do in years to come as English players get picked off by Union and the NRL and the NRL salary cap increases and that's filling their squad with cheap 2nd graders rather then trust their own youngsters.

You still technically have Taulapapa on your books also.

Him and McDonnel will be interchangeable on the lists I think.
