Hulls players have lost control. Not Hicks. If Radford calms them down and they concentrate on rugby rather than cock waving they can still win this

| If people think Watts raised his arm with the intention to hit McIlorum in the head they're full of . He used it a bumper just like every forward in the league does. McIlorum went for a big hit and got the timing wrong.

He's unlucky as McIlorum has gone for a big hit and clobbered Watts elbow but let's be honest we'd be crying blue murder if that was reversed.

Why should McIlorum have been binned for reacting to being ragdolled off the ball? I don't think Kelly should have either.

| This hurts, but I've got to say the arm wasn't raised, on a man of equal size it would have been in the tacklers ribs. Micky Mac was bending into the tackle.
Got to agree with a previous comment, Conner is chirping in plays ears all the time trying to get a rise, did the same last week at Leeds.
Hicks needs to get the yellow card out and settle the game down.

| The game has become a joke. The players are out of control on both sides, the ref has no control and clearly does't know what he is doing - if we are really lucky we might get some Rugby League in between.
As for it been a red.... well if it is, we might as well go all watch netball... there was no malice in it at all, it was a completely accidental contact caused initially by poor tackling technique. If we are going to start making accidental contact like that a red, then the sport is a joke.

| That's a ridiculous red card. Hicks is not good enough to referee super league. He makes inexplicably bad decisions in every game I see. How, for example, can he find not even a penalty last week for Ida's cannonball attack, but dismiss Watts for carrying the ball into a tackle in the same way every forward does in every tackle.
I think Hicks is either completely out of his depth, or corrupt. He should not referee super league again.

| Nonsense. The rules of the game do not require the ball carrier to be sent off every time a tackler hits his arm with his head in a misjudged tackle attempt.
I speak as an experienced referee. That was not a red in a million years.

| Yes. It was. Clearly. That elbow wasn't deliberately raised. He didn't lead with it any more than any guy trying to tackle another man from the side has an elbow between him and the torso.
It was pure mischance. Mcilorum threw himself into a tackle, and got his head in the wrong place. Watts knew next to nothing about that collision. Purely accidental. A genuinely inexplicably bad decision, given it stemmed from a video review of the collision, rather than an instant real-time decision.
Hicks was terrible last week. He's terrible this week. He seems to panic in his decision-making. Not SL standard.

and yet ,Tony Smith was mocked after we played fax for his "Championship ref" comments. That was the second week in a row we had him, and second week he was atrocious. Which is commonplacr for him

| Wigan played some good stuff but gutted to lose, felt Hull deserved it and ultimately the better team, but one with one hand tied behind their back.
Good game, but again the ref dominates the headlines

Accidental or not, he raised his elbow (albeit marginally and through instinct) at an oncoming defender and impacted the head. Impacting the head is a big no-no these days. Not sure what you don't understand about that, Roy the Referee?
As someone else said - and as it happens I agree - he's a victim of the rules.
Anyway, epic effort from Hull, absolutely outstanding for such a huge side to keep running like that. Not a game for the purist but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Poor body position from Micky Mac resulting in getting his head in wrong place. Should never have been a red.

Radford in his interview stating Rob Hicks got it wrong at Wembley with the Tony club no try. Poor old Robert Hicks had no involvement with the officiating in the challenge cup final
