Alfie was outstanding today.
He had to much pace and power for bradford to handle.
I was disappointed our team didnt realise this as we should of used him a lot more today.

There was a few times when Crusaders missed chances that would have easily sent him over in the corner, but never mind. He played well and so did the rest of the team.

He showed his pace on his break, because he looked fairly relaxed but Halley was going hell for leather behind him, and only caught him when Gareth changed direction.
His league career will be short due to age, but good luck to him.

Even as a union hater, he's done okay for me, he's not on holiday and not too old. Also says the right things in interviews, he's what Crusaders need to sell shirts/get press coverage etc. I reckon they'll get another year out of him and then convert another yawnion player. It's working so i'm not going to knock it. I'm looking forward to watchinmg him live as i'm going to go to a Crusaders game this year.

but someone should tell him when they kick to his wing on last tackle in the opposition try line hes supposed to jump for the ball rather than look around aimlessly wondering what happens next

Imagine how good Alfie could have been 10 years ago, with his size and speed he could have been Inglis-like. What a shame he wasted his time stood on the wing in Union not getting the ball.
