I think you will find that he is just confused by the stupid way they named the 'Championships '

Well I have already pointed this out to him a few times, but he does seem to keep referring to it as Ch1, so I'm beginning to think he actually means Championship 1!

There are reasons for most, if not all, behaviours. I am sure there are forums for such analysis and speculation.

If the much vaunted 15000(?) people who signed a petition re Newmarket would stump up around £35 approx each Trin would have their £500K. Surely these highly motivated people would find a mere £35?

Also if Trin do not get a licence would there be any reason for Yorkcourt to build such a large stadium for an anchor tenant who will probably get gates of 2k?

Well spotted windy one! Instead of writing about rugby league (wakey for this thread) chissitt lists the names of posters, the number of posts and most popular topics (with numbers). I agree that not enough people are bothered. If a replacement for Ted is found - who is not able to pump many hundreds of thousands into the club for no return - the club may only make marginal improvements.

I don't think 500 fans can afford to lose 1k. You are correct that not enough people in Wakefield are bothered about having a SL club but that could have been said about Huddersfield only a short time ago. A bit of relative success and suddenly a lot more people care. Things are looking bad at Wakey but all it takes is a slice of luck with an investor coming in, Newmarket getting the go ahead and who knows you might then see that a lot more people are bothered.

I doubt there is anything that I do not understand about Wakey's predicament having to read over 100 posts of your perception of where we went wrong,+ 2 high court writs, an IVA against the chairman, what we should do now, the costs involved in moving to Oakwell, all the second hand tittle tattle you gleen from Wakey fans who by your own admittance are clueless but are prepared to use there views in your tirade against our club, when you have read these things and many others, how can you fail to grasp the seriousness of the situation when it is rammed home at every opportunity by you old girl. As you rightly say I have listed the names of three posters besides yourself, you just click on profile and its all there. Each individuals most active topic is about Wakefield just like yours, for some reason you seem to distance yourself from the 3 named posters, why is that?. Let me stick to the topic. It appears wakey fans are happy to 'spend other people's money' but wil not put their hand in their own pocket. Something Starbug has alluded to. 15000 wil sign a petition for someone else to pay for a stadium but only a few hundred will buy a season ticket and it seems few will put money in the escrow account.

Though Ted could have been more subtle he has challenged wakey fans to put up or shut up. many appear to have short arms, long pockets and big mouths.

Total rubbish. Wakey fans are waiting for answers to some very important questions before handing over their money.
