| More clubs going to the wall!
SL becoming more predictable.
Clubs bending over backwards to get round the overseas rule that applies in the current week.
The RFL/SL/Championship still not having a clue how to promote and market the game in the media.
Australia stuffing England AGAIN with the Kumuls probably beating England.
Pages and pages on forums about how bad match officials are with still no comment about how bad the players are.
The challange cup not to be a sell out nor the SL grand Final.
Even less column inches in the papers and even less news in the media.
Lower attendances all round.
The realisation by the amateur/youth part of the game that summer is the best time to play.
And on the field!!!
SL League winners - Leeds
SL GF - Leeds/Saints either winning
SL Failures - The rest in the most OPEN SL season ever
Chaalange Cup - Depends upon the draw but will be 2 SL teams, the rest having no chance.
Championship - Fax
NRC - Fax
Down the pan - Cougars/Fev/Batley
Championship 1 - York
Most improved team in all leagues - Bulls (sadly because of the pension seekers)
NRL - Storm/Dragons/Broncos
SOO- Queensland
4 nations - Aus by a country mile
Now I hope all the above does NOT come to fruition. I hope it is all wrong because if it is then the game should be progressing in leaps and bounds. |
