Credit for this win has to go to Shaun Wane. The game of rugby league will miss him. Don’t know what it is but his tactics and man management are second to none. Rocking up in a sharp suit and gesticulating around the touch lines doesn’t make a decent manager.

Isn't Super League just amazing and so unpredictable. In 20 years, we've had 4 different winners.

St Helens are the strange one. You'd say the biggest advantage Wigan and Leeds have over Warrington is the winning pedigree and conveyor belt of quality juniors yet these should apply to Saints really too. Yet they're consistently much crapper than they should be.

They get through to Semi Finals because others don’t lift when they play them like they do Wigan and Leeds so have an easier ride.

Leeds are a spent force these days having to qualify to stay in super league on two recent seasons is the reality, too may great players lost and not replaced to stay competitive. You need to look west for trophies from now on.
