I very much doubt that, i have widnes fans working for me and for them guys it kills them not being super league at the cost of teams that don't deserve to be in it.

So if they move every year, you can say they are only a year old and 29 years old.

Can you tell me when Quins have ever not had a single English player in the team?

If you can't, then perhaps that is your cue to leave the conversation...

Makes absolutely no sense to understate their attendances in the months leading up to awarding franchises. Given that all of you who were there seem to think the figure is wrong, I expect Harlequins will issue a correction to say that they forgot to add in season ticket holders or something. Nobody took any photos on their phone? Next home game is Huddersfield on a Friday night, so even fewer away fans than today.
Meanwhile, across town, superb result from Skolars against a team from a higher division.

Well no, Quins didnt only 'move' did they, the completely rebranded. But yes if they closed down a club, opened a new one with a new name in a new area they would continually be a maximum of 1 year old. Though why they would want to do this is unknown.

Im pretty sure the year they did well in super league when they was called london or was they fulham then or was they Quins?
I can't recall which name they was going under that year or what stadium they was playing at that year.
It was the peter Gill era.

Looked like a normal crowd to me, ie not like the annual Leeds/FC/Rovers/Saints/Wigan exceptional ones. In any other year it would've been reported as 3,000+. Which number is wrong us up for debate mind... mind you, the East Stand holds 4,200, and was certainly more than the 40% full which that 1,700 number implies.

| These threads serve no real purpose. Yes it was a shocking crowd, you dont have to be a genius to work that out. But its up to the Quins to sort it out, Personaly i think the move from having their own identity to being a bit part player in a much larger brand was a shocking idea. There will only ever be one Quins club gathering support in London.
But stupid things like using the Widnes gate as a stick to beat them with, Im sorry but i would rather people just commented on it being a good gate and stopped trying to use it for some Quins bashing. Quins need to find somewhere in london where the local populace still consider themselves a community within the Borough of London and set up home and real roots there. Get a Target audience and give it the hard sell, It seems like everything they have done since becoming the Quins has been half d. If they cant find somewhere in London, Move to one of the bigger outlying town's like Bracknel.
We need a club in London, We need as many clubs as we can get wherever we can get them, But they have to be capable of doing the right things.

That was a relegation position that year, We were well aware of this at the start of that season. It was neither the RFL's Cats, Quins or anyone elses fault we went down.
In honesty the only thing Quins bring to the game that Widnes wouldnt would be interest in the Greater london area, But from the look of things the greater London population could not care less about the club or the sport. But that does not mean we should stop trying.

| Anyone who thinks a SL club in London isn't viable doesn't know London. The victory over Leeds a few years ago showed the potential - plucky locals versus arrogant noisy Northerners made for a great atmosphere and a great spectacle.
I even think that with a little thought and creativity, the Quins ground/nameshare can be made to work. Sadly, all I hear indicates that the people in key positions at Harlequins Rugby League (their actual name, Quins RL was dropped some time ago) are utterly clueless. Not Rob Powell, though it remains to be seen how a coach with so little playing experience will fare long term. But Quins have put a good product on the pitch before without it translating into success off it.
