Exactly right.
Having said that, even if Toronto give plenty of tickets away, the revenue from the game over there would significantly exceed the revenue from the game had it been in London.
Still, you wouldnt think there could be ticket deals and freebies to the home fans on a "shared" gate. |

London have had their accommodation and travel paid for and will receive half the gate money from non season ticket holders. I don’t think they’ve been too hard done by.
What does seem unfair is that the loser of this game will have finished above Widnes, but will receive significantly less than them in central funding next year (or nothing if it’s TWP)
There’s a great piece in the Guardian, an interview with the man of the moment Sir David Argyle. This man seems to generate more media coverage than the rest of the clubs put together.
