Great news that they've opened the upper tier, hopefully it will sell out and Elland Road will be a caldron of noise. Whenever the austrailians have possesion we need to make it as intimidating and hositle as possible as in the NRL they're not used to playing in such an atmosphere. I'm all for respecting them pre and post match but when the game kicks off give 'em 80 minutes of hell.

If you were disagreeing about the wooden seats, then I'm afraid I can confirm that there are still a large number of wooden seats. I was sat on one at the Leeds-Melbourne WCC game last year.

Clapping the opposition is a concept I've never quite understood. I don't think I'm a disrespectful person, I'll be quiet during their national anthem etc, but I'd never clap an opposition team try, or goal in football. At the very most I'd give them a ripple of applause at the end of the game. I'm there to support my team/country.

I agree we need to make it as intimidating as possible for eighty minutes, we need to do everything we can in the stands to give our lads the best possible chance of causing an upset.

In my thirty odd years of watching RL, I've always clapped good play, no matter which side it's by.

A good score is a good score, regardless.

Effectively sold out! I rang ticket office for more tickets and they told me they could only give me seats on there own, she said Elland Road had some left but only 200 and they're the £50 ones I think.

It's up to everyone to get the place rocking now and make it uncomfortable for these Australians. I think they have a couple of players in that side with an error or 2 in them and we need to get on top of them.

A couple of RL journos are very recently tweeting that 30,000 have been sold, capacity limited to 33,000 due to the works.

A quick note about transport - shuttle buses will be operating from Sovereign Street (near the station) to the ground. Metrobus told me this today after the RFL told me yesterday that there weren't any.

Apparently it's only just been decided.

East Stand Upper: 5.1k (not all this will be open for the game)

So will the whole available capacity be used, or have the RFL bottled it and decided not to open some areas?
