I mean one of yours in Baldwinson really has failed to prove himself and will probably be in the Championship eventually and George King I think is a player who sounds like a good signing because he came through at Warrington but I never really rated him and think he’ll end up following in the footsteps of other Warrington academy lads they let go like Chris Riley and Rhys Evans and not do much after leaving Warrington.'"

Cas without Gale and not so many good new signings.
On the flip side Wakey still look strong, we've recruited heavily, Catalans recruited well and Saints may have won the league by August.
So (with my obvious red tinted glasses on):
1. Saints
2. Warrington
3. Catalans
4. Wakefield
5. Hull KR
6. Wigan
7. Huddersfield
8. Leeds
9. Castleford
10. Hull FC
11. Salford
12. London'"
Aging pack, which player, Mini I'll give you, but the next oldest is 32 and he is a prop, props often play until they are 34/35.
Come on do you really think you have signed quality to finish 5th, above Leeds and Wigan?

| Tin hat at the ready but, here goes:
Saints
Warrington
Wigan
Castleford
Wakefield
Catalan
Leeds
Huddersfield
Hull FC
Hill KR
Salford
London
GF Saints
LLS Warrington
CC Wakefield
Championship final Toronto v Widnes, with Widnes to make a swift return to SL
Having said that, the only certainty looks like London for the wooden spoon and Salford may struggle but, apart form that almost anything can happen and 5th to 10th could be in just about any order, even Wigan and Cas are not certainties for the top 4.
Should be a great season and if only we had some decent promotion of the game, RL could actually be "the greatest game"

If the play off semi final was your idea of a steamrollering then your standards are extremely low. There was nothing wrong with Saints’ pack in the Wire semi, it was the backs that were a let down. Saints’ pack is considerably better than Wires. Luke Thompson, Walmsley, Lees all walk into the Wire team for starters. I could go on as well through the rest of the forwards. Also, LMS ‘the soft cheerleader’ was 12th for metres gained averaging 104 metres a game. Rather him than Lama Tasi or Sita Akauola.

Luke Thompson probably impressed me the most last season out of everyone I watched, excellent player.

A bit harsh that, 9th for me but with their luck possibly 8th, probably just above London, shudds, and FC.

We came 4th in 2009 with a squad people thought wasn't that great. But yes, it's ambitious, but WTH - the thread doesn't include 'realistic' in the title.

You could go through it, but you'd still be wrong, if you did actually believe that, you wouldnt have gone missing for a calendar month after you lost. (Presumably you also were in the lakes like lebron was)

Hallelujah, AS108 is back with his anti-everyteam rhetoric, apart from saints.
Where did you disappear to, we've missed you! So AS108, are you predicting a saints clean sweep again with LeBron?

Hasn't anyone told you it's not safe to drink the tap water in Hull?
I admire your optimism though.
Your post did make me go onto the Hull KR website out of curiosity as I wasn't aware you'd signed Thurston, Inglis and Slater (yes Slater and not Salter ) during the off-season. Seems like you haven't actually signed anyone, but you've still got the likes of T & J Carney on your books amongst others. Is there an up-to-date squad list anywhere?(and here's me thinking it was just Salford that didn't bother updating their website!)

Oops yeah good point!
Based on what's on Wikipedia why do people think HKR have strengthened that much? Linnet as solid, Lannon was a penalty machine at Salford and Weller is way past his best. Who have they signed that's gonna make them a top 8 team?
