Some B and B in Edinburgh that debited my account for all of us for three nights six months before we were due to arrive. He really didn't want to give it back. He couldn't seem to understand the notion people pay for themselves instead of me paying for them.

He has now made eveyone ring up and pay before we even arrive - tight horrible git. We would have stayed elsewhere if we could have got booked in.

The Roseburn Bar is on the corner of the road that runs down to Murrayfield. There is also the Murrayfield Bar about 100 metres along the road.

There are also quite a few hotels on Corstorphine Road.

Yeah we're in the Holiday inn but I don't want to pay £3.50 a pint so was going to venture out into the wild for a pint of heavy.

Looks like Edinburgh's full cuz the Great Edinburgh Run is on at the same time.

Incidentally there is a nice pub right across from the Holiday Inn, you can also go to the zoo which is next door

Struan Hotel? Any good I was going to walk down to The Oak Inn this is just for Friday night mind.

There are about 5 or 6 bars in Corstorphine you can go to, most of them are ok. Plus its on the 26 bus route which comes every 5 mins.

In no way could Corstorphine be described as "the wild"

it is serious money country.

There is a Toby carvery close by that does decent food and not bad for a pint too.

Mortenhall? We were camping there until about 2 weeks ago when difficutlies out of our hands happened and a rush to get alternative transport/accomodation!

The Innkeepers Lodge? A truck ran into the pub next door on Monday, dunno if it's open at the moment.

The Theme park is worth a visit for a laugh, the bar up there isn't bad either if you get sick of the hotel bar, beware of anyone who looks like they maybe a member of Goldie Lookin Chain...

We're at the Premier Inn in Haymarket.

At Cardiff we were around 6 miles away both times so we are closer to the City this time and a short distance to the stadium as well.

Three of us in Livingston after a late change from Glasgow.

Livingston, which is this week the party capital of Britain.

We used to have an office there (which I was up there for 3 days to clear and shut the other week) on the whole it is terrible apart from the new area of shops/bars/restaurants in the centre.

I'm not bothered either way as other than the Friday night I don't think we'll be there for any considerable time other than to sleep.
