There is no reason why Sam shouldn't cope, playing with better players will improve his game and might encourage more youngsters to do the same.

I would like to see players like Ellis and Burgess then return to superleague to help improve our game.

If we really want to improve our game at national level (which I sometimes doubt) we need to bite the bullet and send some of our up and coming players into the toughest competition.

But that won't happen will it? Hell we can't even agree in the interpretation of the rules

I see Sydney have someone called Mario Fenech involved with the club. We had a joke of a player with that name at Bradford a few years back. I wouldn`t want Sam to be coached by him. The article calls him a legend so it can`t be the same one. Unless you can be a legend for being worse than useless??

I think he's got a leader's role at Catalans and better weather. At his age he'll be looking for an end of career job and I don't see Wigan offering it, especially as they don't even have a coach.

Moving to Wigan has ended many a career.

Josh Cordoba hasn't played SOO, good player, nothing special. Knocks on a bit but loves a scrap and is very handy at it!

TBH I thought he was pretty average. Got stuck in and tried hard but needs to work on his ball retention.
Decent squad player but not someone you want to build a pack around or indeed use a quota spot on really.
