The forwards and outside backs have been fantastic. Chris Hill was unbelievable! However, our lack of a good (don’t even need to be world class) half back pairing is showing. The last decent half back pairing we had of Long and Pryce would have had an absolute field day. This is the game that highlights Tomkins should have been at 6 and not Brown. Has Brown even touched the ball bar the one drop off he did?

You don't turn down the opportunity of points against the Aussies. 2 kickable penalties wasted. Missing the direction of SOL.

Defence has been brilliant. Enough has already been said about our attacking play. Just so frustrating to watch all the wasted opportunities. But we will get more chances, it's time to take a few of them.

We can win this. Our forwards are better, we are making good yards, Gales kicking is better today. Just need to calm down and take better 4th/5th tackle options and cut silly mistakes out

Just need to calm it, complete sets, stop panicking and going out to the wing in just the first couple tackles, we've got some massive forwards, smash down the middle and draw some defenders in then get it out to the wingers, wingers looking really good, especially catching at the back and running out from deep, come on england, still in it!

It is, yes. It's great stuff. Huge respect to both teams for the effort they're putting in. The speed and intensity that they play at is amazing.

I have to agree with that, was saying before the game that I would kick penalties, just get the ball back, repeat, defending harder than attack of course, tire Australia, keep ball in hand and the scoreboard ticking over, even if only in small amounts and that one mistake might just come.

Only joking, I know what you're saying. With hindsight yes we should have taken the points. But we had momentum and it's so hard to get into those attacking positions that I don't blame them from trying to run it.
