Lets just hope they include him in the England coaching set up and maybe one day he may take the coaching position.

Contradiction somewhere in this post but not sure where
SL is part of the reason for the games decline here but not the only reason.

| Eddie and Stevo is my option, put up or shut up time for these two, if they don't win every game they should be banished from our tv screens for ever!!!

Thats what we need then.
A shared coaching berth. Goulding as half time coach to keep us in the game, and Noble as second half coach due to his ability to get teams to play only in the second half of EVERYTHING usually when it is too late!!
Goulding and Nobby for joint England Coaches!

| They should use it as an excuse to disband the international game for a few years. It just doesn't work.
How many other sports are there with an international aspect where the 3rd best side in the world can't beat the no 1 side?

It obviously does work because plenty of people watch and enjoy it. This includes many people who dont normally watch RL but they watch internationals because it involves an England representative team. It also makes money for the respective countries and the international board for the general good of the game and the development of the game.

| Brian McClennan and Michael Maguire. One has been at the helm of the best British club in the last year or so and the other has been assistant to arguably the best club team (I don’t agree) in the world.
We need England Training Sessions every month so players get used to playing with each other. However I know that will be hard for Ellis and Burgess but it seems that they aren’t the problem and are players that will slot into any team in the world.

| There isn't an English coach good enough and most of the Aussies over here wouldn't get a main coaching job in Aus.
It most probably wont happen but I'd like to see us go for a big name Aussie coach of the stature of Sheens or Bennet .
As well as being England's coach he could be a sort of coaching supremo with a brief to oversee coaching and player development of the game in general, a sort of coacher of coaches.

Agree with that. I wouldn't let a British coach anywhere near coaching our team because they are simply not good enough. I'm sorry to see Smith go because he's been doing a good job bringing players through and several of those who have played this year have had real coming of age moments in this tournament e.g. Fox, Shenton, Tomkins, Eastmond. Even those who we know have the right stuff have been able to lift themselves to a level I haven't seen from them before e.g. Sinfield, Graham, Burgess, Ellis. Unfortunatley it wasn't for every game but it's encouraging.

| Hanley with Radlinski as his assistant. Paul Sculthorpe, and other high profile past players all involved in coaching roles.
Heard a strong rumour Radderz will be assistant whoever gets it, not sure about the Hanley rumour but he would be my choice.

i'm sure john kear keeps a closer eye on super league than edwards if that is what your basing your appointment on.
Kear would be a good choice, tactically sound and a modern day coach. Edwards is a good coach in a diiferent sport although he was a great player.
Don't want Noble as he won't bring on the younger players as has been proven, for example tomkins only got a chance at the expense of an overpaid aussie in smith and noble had no choice but to play him.

| Wayne Bennett would be my choice but it isn't going to happen. If we want an overseas coach then someone like Graham Murray or Daniel Anderson would be my choice. Both have a great ability to get players playing "above" themselves, and are very good technically too.
If we go for a British coach then Brian McDermott and John Kear are the only real SL candidates. It wouldn't suprise me to see Hanly get the job, but I wouldn't like to see it.
