Simmo seems like a decent bloke however it is a bit 'Leeds AM' at times

He's cringeworthy and painful to listen to.

Why Leeds think it appropriate to have him involved in their game day presentation is beyond me - I literally used to walk out of the stadium onto the cricket side to avoid him on the pitch at half time (it's less easy this year).

However now that I've seen more of the presentation skills of Wayne Godwin I'm revising my estimate of Simmons modest abilities up somewhat.

Rugby AM is like watching a Live abortion performed with a rusty spoon......and I am being nice here.

Rugby AM is for mouth breathers. It makes the Footy Show look like some sort of high brow intellectual discussion.

That footage in the Fax dressing room with Wagga is on another level.

My issue is with Rugby AM to be showing what they were singing, they should have cut that very end bit out of the programme because it wasn’t for the rugby league - and wider - public to see and hear. The swearing is part of every day life for every community, singing about paedophiles isn’t (even if it wasn’t meant in any negative way and is just a bit of fun, for them). I’m sure just as bad is sung or said or done in any team’s changing rooms, I don’t have an issue with Fax as such. But I’d hope the players saw that afterwards on the programme and thought “Jesus, o you know what? Maybe that’s not the best thing to be singing!”

Sky showed the London team celebrating & singing in their changing room after the game tonight. They had the good sense to turn off the microphone. Inappropriate songs and language have always been, and always will be, present in "masculine" sporting changing rooms. The mistake Fax made was to allow the microphone into the changing room.

Somehow Wayne Godwin snuck in and joined in as well.

Wow - I get that "locker room" talk has been broadened out to excuse the worst excesses of some high profile people, but that is just awful; no it shouldn't have been broadcast - but why on earth would a team be singing it in the first place?

If Rugby AM were watched in significant numbers, it would do more harm than good. Dreadful guff of the worst kind.
