| You've really annoyed me with that nonsense comment and that's not a good thing to do. I've praised a lot of kits this and every year but there are always a few exceptions, one of which this year was Hull KR wasn't it? I wonder why you've taken such offence?
About Wigans safe home kit:

About Batleys contrasting efforts:

There. I've highlighted the ones in red that I was not complimentary about. I didn't even comment on the widnes one here, although suffice to say I liked it. Elsewhere I have also praised the Leeds and Wire efforts as I think they are top notch.
So from you're "he doesn't like any kit apart from Widnes'" it becomes clear that I simply didn't like yours. And I respect your club, I just didn't like the wavy line.

just seen my wigan kit (supposed to for christmas but had a peak) well its the away one but i have to say it looks nothing like the cas kit and its more gold coloured than the pic shows its actually very nice.

I think you're right. The 2009 kit with the big cougar across the belly was a shocker. I remember turning up to the launch do for it and telling the staff there that I wasn't even going to bother trying it on. I think the Keighley board at the time wanted a kit that appealed to children, with the obvious oversight that adults were still going to be the ones paying for it.
Luckily now we have a board that listens to the fans, they took on board our criticism and the kits the last 2 seasons have been much better, they've even put the town's coat of arms back on the shirt. Really impressed with both kits so have ordered them. |
