Graham whines at the ref too much for me. Not saying that when he actually plays the game he doesn't set an example - he's a great player - but he does whine a bit too much. Irritating.

There are better players in his position available. I'm not a big fan of using players out of position - if McNamara's willing to put Sinfield in at 13, then by all means, he could captain the side. I don't think we should be so willing to play players out of position, and if we do we shouldn't be awarding that player captaincy, when he's not even in the squad in his best (or even 2nd best position). At hooker too, he will only be on the pitch for about half the game. |

Gareth Ellis is the obvious captain in my opinion. Was a good leader on the field during his time at Wakey and Leeds and has now gained good experience 'darn under'.
