That seems to be a standard Crusaders signing at the moment though, a quick fix. Get a year and ship them on. Shifofske (sp), Martin, Thomas, Raynor etc all in their 30's with the end of their playing days fast approching

He'll be in the Championship if anywhere. This year, and the end of last, was too far for him at Super League level I'm afraid.

Probably at Huddersfield, most of our ex players usually finish up there. It doesnt matter really so long as he gets a good deal. He certainly deserves one.

I voted for Salford,but, thinking about it, I can see him going to Hunslet or Dewsbury. Barrow could be an option, but perhaps too far to trek. I'd have thought he'd go to Hunslet or Dewsbury, so he could get one more year of playing, settle into the club and then take on a coaching role. Wouldn't surprise me if, after a couple or three years coaching in the Championship, he ends up back at Wakefield as part of the academy coaching set up.

He is still more than good enough for the super league. Crusaders need to compete while also developing their own players. He would be a great player for them and would really help grow some of the other talent there. He is also a pretty big name and has been over here for years. Exactly the sort of player they need right now. If they are still doing this 5 years down the line then I will be worried.

If he doesn't go to them I would like to see him at any other struggling team in super league.

I think its fair to say that Wakefield believe he can no longer do a job for us that is why he is being released, but that does not stop him from playing in the championship if the right offer comes along he is certainly still good enough for that. Dont know about you but I wish I could have retired at thirty something.
