| Quote ="Roofaldo"But by that, you admit it's an improvement on what we had. Sibbit will be a bench warmer at best. But he provides something Bradford lacked this year, extra players with SL experience.
For instance, Bradford started this season with 18 1st team players over the age of 20. 18, the number of players you announce before a game. The rest of the 1st team are under 20's. Some even under 18's. Now, once the injuries hit, how well would Wigan, Leeds, Saints do in that position? Especially if they started the season with only one actual half back.'"
The point is none of the signings you have made are going to set SL alight, your not going to get any closer to a top 8 finish signing rubbish like Sibbit
The Bulls side about 5-6 years ago would put 60+ points on the current squad

Well he's the worst player in Super League - how could it have got much worse?
Mighty Max could have done a better job in the second row.
Quote Now, once the injuries hit, how well would Wigan, Leeds, Saints do in that position? '"
Wigan, Leeds and Saints have on the whole always had successful academy teams and a pool of talent they can rely on once/should injuries hit.

Ian Sibbit and Worrincy.
Seriously?
The other 13 SL teams may as well just give the title to Bradford now.

Way to dodge the question.
If you only had 18 players over 20, oyu'd struggle once injuries hit. It's okay putting a few kids in, and they get good experience, but when you have to put 6 in at once (in key positions like 1,7,9) then you're going to struggle.
Tbh, although it's frustrating that everybody loves to put us down, i'll still value Mick Potter's opinion on players higher than anybody's on here.
Oh, and in 2006, it was great that you gave a chance to a young prop forward to turn your fortunes around, rather than spending a record transfer fee to bring in a Bradford Bulls academy product

| They're still in our u20's.
Both are still only 18. They moved up into the u20 competition at the start of the year and both are progressing well. Likely to make sporadic appearances off the bench next season.

| This one just occured to me too, Cadoo.
Did you think Wigan's recruitment was poor this season when the only player you had signed was a past his best scrum-half?
But then it proved to be a very shrewd signing and the new coach was the most important factor.
I rate Mick Potter, not sure if you do, but I reckon he knows what he can get from the squad he's assembling (and the board have told him the aim is top 4 and one final, the same as every season)
I don't expect that much next season, but I expect us to make the play-offs with the new coach being the most important signing.

Mick Potter is a fantastic coach and I know for a fact the Saints players are sad to see him go.
You will go well with him at the helm.

Potter is a very good coach and will be a massive asset to the Bulls. You'll be unrecognisable from the shambles of 2010 I reckon.

To be honest he’s been awful this year (as have much of the team), defensively inept and has lost a yard or two of pace after the terrible knee injury he suffered last season.

Apparently signed for Hudds
Shame to see him go, as he's a promising centre.

| Not sure whay so many people are dissing the Bulls' signings at all. Sibbit's a squad player. If Walker can get back to full fitness he should go well in the centres. Ainscough has promise (I really hope he kicks on so we can all rejoice in a quality British threequarter developing rather than seemingly take delight in players not quite cutting it).

They are all half decent players. Elima is probably the best of them, one of the best backrowers in the competition.
BUT none of these signings are going to do anything but further deepen the hole they have to get out of in order to challenge for trophies again. If Potter can turn that squad into a playoff contenders it will be his best achievement yet.
His appointment is a great move by Bradford. There will be none of the nonsense we've seen this last few years from them.

For quins sake i hope he doesnt, we tried him at fullback and he was terrible, his positioning is poor, his one on one tackling is poor and he struggles under the high ball.
Dorn is best used as a support player, as he is arguably the best support player in the league.
