gutterfax were you aware that when aussie league expanded to have teams in auckland, perth, north queensland and 2nd brisbane side, wellington dolphins bid just missed out, wellington side were jacking up games against nrl side like canberra. super league war and resulting bad media coverage, poor warriors results after being overhyped and failing to deliver the hype, and bad administration and incidents such as a drive by shooting occuring at wellington grand final, saw game go downhill in wellington after the mid 1990's.

1. New Zealand rugby league is all in Auckland; and
2. There is no rugby league in the South Island of NZ.

As it is, I have already said I was wrong to say League was not a big sport in the south island, but you continue to hark back to that. I actually said on a number of occassions that League has a massive opportunity to kick on in New Zealand and the fact that NZRU seem slow to react to threats would only help this growth, but you keep on harking back to posts I made before I properly researched the subject.
