To be fair, they are still a very good side and could probably beat Leigh even with half a team (no offence Leigh). Its just the pathetic, before game excuses, from a CHAMPION side that wind me up

if they win, Saddo and his buddy WW69 (plus a few others) will be on here telling us how they are the best team in the world (world champions!!!) and how the CC is the most prestigious comp in the world

It's weird.

Ignoring WW69, they seem to create this narrative for themselves that they're up against it so that if they lose they can fall back on "we had injuries" or "this ref hates us" but if they win then it's more proof that they're the greatest side that ever lived.

It just shows how insecure they are. Pretty sad really. I worry about them when their dominance does indeed come to an end.

Perhaps deep down they know it's been hollow with COVID and every other side being poor and they still haven't managed to truly dominate by winning everything

Not a chance.

That’s why st Helen’s are so good. They won SL last season with half a team. Or on the flip side you could argue that’s why the rest of SL is so bad because they couldn’t unseat st Helen’s despite them having half a team missing.

I genuinely believe Leigh might be the team to do it. They are easily better than Wigan and Warrington
