Just in case its escaped anyones attention, no clubs in the middle 8s are in SL. They are trying to qualify to take their place in SL 2016 so if anything no one should get any money in the middle 8s.

In that case, Salford, the Robins, Wakey, and Widnes cannot field teams this weekend as the SL contracts are ended and we all have to sign up the players first!

And we'd be over the cap too.

The only contribution Hudds fans make on the VT seems to be them whinging about people picking on their attendances and why other teams don't get the same kind of stick as Hudds about crowds.

95% of our home support travels to big away games, and more than 100% for really big games.

Other crowds get picked up on all the time. Why do Hudds get more stick than others.....simple because people feel the attendances they get and the reasons/excuses made for them are worthy of more criticism. Kinda like if a team loses by 60 points, they'll get more stick than a team that lost by 10 points.

You grew them to the point where last year, the year after finishing top and a sustained period of success, they were averaging almost as high as the team the got relegated after a sustained period of being in absolute freefall.

I dont actually have any figures to hand but our average attendances in 2000 were roughly 1500, theyve increased by not far off 7000. Have Hudds gone up by more than that?

Love it. Bradford go from champions to relegation, crowds decrease you call their fans glory seeking tosspots. Huddersfield go from championship team to winning the league, and an increase in crowds is down to hard work from club and nothing to so with glory seeking.

As you're praising your club for increasing it's crowds (which you should do) I'd be interested to know your opinion of those fans who are watching your team now you're a top super league team, who weren't watching when you were a championship team...

Hull Kr is a good shout it's probably a close call between us.

Bull Mania, how can Huddersfield have attracted glory supporters when we haven't won a major trophy for 60 years? the crowds had actually gone up significantly before our LLS year.

It appears I was a little over zealous in my estimations with that post.
If I do have a defence though, Bradford were the only Club to travel to Leigh in significantly large numbers, about 3,000, whereas Leigh took over 4,000 to Wire for the CC QF.
Hull KR, who I expected to travel in big numbers were in fact much less in number than I imagined, not knocking KR, they had other factors most likely affecting their decisions to travel or not, not least the cost of attending the CC Final.

Salfords away attendance at Leigh was very poor & I fully expect us Leigh fans to be much larger in number at the ECCLES Council House tomorrow.

fair play ste, if Bradford and Leigh manage to get on track and maybe beat a SL team then maybe, but i doubt any team will take 4,000 to an away game.
