To cheat is to do something dishonest with the intention of gaining an advantage. It was an unintentional mistake and the RFL obviously took that view given the fact they didn't deduct any points. You also say prove that we didn't cheat. It's on a person making an accusation of cheating to prove it rather than the other side proving a negative.

I've never said I'm against the punishment. I agree with it. £10,000 is pretty harsh but I can understand it given when it happened and where on the field it happened. I wouldn't have agreed with a points deduction. I know Canterbury Bulldogs were deducted 2 points in the NRL when they briefly had 14 on the field, but in that game the player coming on was given specific instructions not to go on until his team mate had come off and he ignored it - different circumstances, different punishment. Saints lost their game and the 14 men were on earlier in the game - again, different circumstances, different punishment.

The incident must have happened before Cas' set of 6 started, as teams aren't allowed to make interchanges and water carriers etc aren't allowed on while a team is defending except for physios attending injured players.

£10,000 is not harsh at all. The rules state 13 players at a time. They had 14 on the field and to make it worse it was 3 mins from time on their own line which is a coincidence. Well done RFL for giving a punishment out which proves to teams now that this is a major rule which cant be broke. Some RFL fans are hard to please. If they were given a £100 fine you would all be saying, that's stupid and should be more.

The fine is no punishment at all against Salfraud. Koukash can afford this without blinking. The loss of the two points and awarding them to Cass would have been the only true and just penalty.

Let's start with the last two rounds of licencing agreements. Salfraud never had the stadium facilities or financial stability as stated in their applications. They are RFL favourites, instead of denying this why don't you just lie back and enjoy....

Cass, who aren't RFL favourites, were cheated out of two points. You know this, as does the rest of the RFL world but, sadly for our once great sport, nothing can or will be done about it.

As for crowds, double them and you may, just may, reach 3000 which is considerably less than your fairytale licence applications promises. What was the number stated in them, and believed by your fairy godmothers at the RFL, 10.000 or so? Where are you all now then?

I repeat, a £10.000 fine is a cheap price to pay for 2 league points at Cass's expense; Salfraud is one of the RFL favoured clubs so instead of denying this why not just admit this and go along for the ride...

You admit to being 1 week away from folding yet in your last Licence Application all was well, you were solvent ( not!) You promised proper stadium facilities which weren't delivered in the time scale, you alleged a fan base which wasn't there.

I repeat, I'm not bitter just fed up with the way Red Hall is ruining our game by being blinkered and favouring certain clubs which includes Salfraud. Instead of trying to justify the way you are being favoured, I repeat also that you should just bask in the RFL's sunshine knowing that no matter how badly you finish in the league, how poor your support is, no matter how many RFL rules you break - nothing serious will be done against you.

£10K to buy 2 league points is really a disgrace. If you are a real RL supporter you will know this is true.

Tell me pal when were the licences give out? Because I'm sure it was 2012? I'm sure we moved into our stadium in 2012! We expected crowds to rise with it being a new stadium, it's unfortunate what happened to Salford but were not on our own. why is it only us that have gotten away with it? Wakefield and cas STILL haven't got new stadia. Wakefield were near enough bankrupt and would of gone into the championship if it wernt for Crusaiders folding! Forgot that have we? Bradford were in huge Debt so were London broncquins same with Hull KR the fact of the matter is that near enough half the league got licences on marks given which were not met, so don't just single out Salford. And tbh why are you bothered about any other team apart from your team? Like i said your club will be playing second tear rugby soon as you haven't got a pot to plss in.

The previous management seemed to have a "build it and they will come" attitude. They seemed to think that moving down the road to a shiny box would be the antidote to years of poor management and non-existent marketing. It wasn't.
