I agree that SoO will have an adverse effect on teams who contribute loads of players......Brisbane were missing 33% of their average gate and St George 505 of theirs.....maybe the draw should be changed......but I doubt it will be. Warriors v Tigers is always a bigger than normal gate for Mt Smart....as I said, Benji coming to town is the closest thing we have toa derby game.

Fact remains, 13,964 average is a poor effort and the fact that the fumblers got more for their one game than 1st and 2nd in the NRL did is a big concern

Wasn't having a [uheavy[/u go at the bunnies, but 8k is poor. The doom mongers on the VT were getting all down over a bad week with a 6k average gate in the ESL. Surely a club the size of the bunnies and being the only "LIVE" show in town on Friday in a stadium that offers better coverage from the elements than most others, should have seen a gate double that size.

They weren't shown live in Friday which makes it worse, they were the 9:30 replay.

During this years SOO series, the crowds have actually gone up by around 50/60,000 from last year.

Well done, this is the time of year the crowds really drop, so it's good to see the game getting more people through the gate during the rep season.

My little brother won one of the women in League footys last week at the tigers v dogs game, all 27 of the first grade squad signed it plus a few other things.

We'll be heading to the next Saints game at Win down here in Wollongong with a few mates from the bush plus the Parra v Tigers game in 2 weeks with a few others coming along that haven't been to games for a long time.

this weekend could be a good'un as well.
