That you sack players because you can and you demean a competetion, is it fair no, it could now change the overall positions the rest will finish in. IMHO you are ruining what is and has been a very competitive league so far.

Maybe you would have been better this year putting in these good young kids in, instead of players, who know they're not coming to SL with you. I think you would be doing better then you are at present.

And if Betts thinks hes in a job next year, then hes thicker than I thought it him that needs sacking, you need t get DES as your chairman

Wakefield survived in SL, and that is the best I can say. The RFL set the rules and if you look at some of the things that have been said by the RFL over the years you will find that the RFL's vision of SL was a good setup at every level from the Facilities that a club could offer and a solid youth programme.

Widnes' success at reserve and Academy level has been outstanding and the idea of the Viking Stronghold is one that will be copied by other clubs. [The club is not looking for 7000 members this year but rather next year or the year after.

Widnes is a small town, unlike the City of Wakefield, and carries more than its weight in RL circles.

So don't make stupid criticisms of the system that allowed you to survive as long as you did and of a club that has now benefited from the same system.

Leaguefan isn't a wildcat, just a bitter person who doesn't like us for some reason nobody cares about.

If Widnes/Halifax or future franchise teams were to finish bottom, would the 2nd to bottom side be relegated?

Unfortunately we have put in a couple of kids this year and it has demonstrated why you shouldn't rush the kids in. Two very talented youngsters have suffered injuries.
Gore suffered a back injury in the game he played in and Craven was spear-tackled into the ground resulting in a dislocated shoulder.
These lads are fantastic and put in fantastic performances and they will continue to be blooded but there is a hell of a difference playing against lads your own age and semi-professional players.

Wire Wonder is just a silly child and entertains for awhile.Then starts talking more drivel and becomes boring.

Well said mate. It's easy to forget we lost some of our top youth when went into admin! The likes of Myler and Sidlow so we lost the crop aged around 20-23 so we are now looking at kids from 17-19 who just aren't quite their physically yet. Full time training will speed this up no end though!
