if they do yes, they still will have 3 less overseas players than hull kr, still will have many more youth products than hull kr, and still wont have added 2 overseas players to their total over the off season.

and still be "bending" the rules of 5 overseas players, as will 75% of SL clubs.

is it the circumventing of the RFL rules you don't like or the number of overseas players? Make your mind up!

I havent said either Leeds or Rovers needed to go into next season with five overseas players. I would be happy to see that cut in overseas players come gradually. Here is where i told you this before

Leeds shouldnt really add another overseas player, should they add Hauraki i would be very disappointed, He wouldnt add a great deal to the league, isnt great and we already have enough.
This would be like the signings of Blake Green, the resignings of Jake Webster, Rhys Lovegrove, Ben Fisher, and Joel Clinton.

Should it be Frank Pritchard or Jared Warea-Hargreaves however, i wouldnt be so disappointed, because they are top quality players, they would add a great deal to the league, however we would still be on 7, the same as last year (and nearly 50%
less than Hull Kingston Australia) and would need to bring the total down.

You see, you can justify the NUMBERS, with the QUALITY, if the QUALITY is what you are bringing in/keeping. However you cant use QUALITY to justify the NUMBERS if you are bringing in/keeping crap like Rhys Lovegrove.

Webster was an Int and GF winner when signed, Clinton was an Int and Gf winner when signed yet you seem to have a problem with those two. Dobson had barely broke into the NRL yet was clearly a very good young player who has since proved his talent in SL.

Personally I would much rather us sign a 21 year old Australian who goes on to be a quality10 year club player than a 32 year old rep player who has one or at best 2 years left in him.

Quality I'd define as someone who is better than the vast majority of English players. Ben Fisher is a very average hooker and there are plenty of English hookers around who are better than him. Lovegrove is of poor quality too, there are again plenty of English props who are better than him. Green is an unknown quantity and it'd be unfair for me to criticise him having not seen him play, but why can't Hull KR give an unknown English player a chance instead of bringing over ANOTHER Aussie?

Rovers and every other club are judged to the same standards. They are judged on how many quota players they have and how many home grown players they have.

The problem with Hull KR's imports is that with the exception of Willie Mason, they wouldnt get a gig at an NRL team which is why they are in SL. They are all average and ive rather see an average brit given a chance rather than an average aussie.
