Can we stop putting Bradford's signings on this thread as they are signing players for the championship. Some of their fans on twitter are claiming the squad they have is not championship standard but SL standard and top SL standard at that!

You really need to stop taking twitter seriously. Every bulls fan I've spoken to knows it's going to be a tough season. We believe we've got a strong squad that will get us in the top 4 then a chance if gettin back in SL.

I suspect its the same as this year 5 quota overseas but 7 non-fed trained. RFL press releases only ever mention overseas players and skip over the non fed trained quota. Think Etu and one other of bradfords only count on non-fed trained, hence giving us the space for 7. RFL really should put something out that clarifies the overseas and non fed quotas.

This year for the Championship it's 1 quota overseas and the rules make no mention of non-fed trained for the Championship, it only seems to apply to SL.

Maybe it'll be just 5 quota overseas (ie just quota, no non-fed trained rules applying) for the Championship next season, and maybe some of the Bradford and London players qualify under that rule.

The result was 150k wasn't it? How many years did Mason have left on his contract at the time? Iirc the payout can be spread over the length of the remaining contract, so it's in effect just being a player down, but not actually affect players in vs players out?

I had all my fingers and toes crossed that Curtis would come back to Bradford, but I think our relegation put paid to that ever happening.
