If I were cummings, I would appoint Thaler for every HKR game until he gets a full, public and sincere apology from Morgan.
It is outragous that this year, as part of the respect campaign, fans can be banned for life for berrating the officials, but this tw@ get's a smack on the wrist and is not asked to apologise to his victim of his cowardly abuse.
The RFL should have banned him from even being present at at least 5 games and given him a final warning.

the other side of this is what is the likelihood of other refs taking their feelings outy on HKR after all being a ref is a lonely job and yoiu often only have a small group of colleagues to fall back on for support

Well you can use these forums.

It makes not a jot of difference though if your team loses. I mean I KNOW it's not your teams players who play rubbish , drop the ball miss time a tackle, miss time a pass, head high tackle, are off side it's ALWAYS the match officials.

The fact that he knocked it forwards onto Meli, which meant a knock on even before he knocked it back. All of the video referee decisions were obviously correct.

Silverwood should be stood down from next weeks games at least. All 26 players on the field stopped when the knock on happened. It wasn't marginal or dubious, there was no doubt for the attacking side to benefit from. It shows how utterly shocking the officiating in Super League, that is what makes SL look so amateurish when compared with the NRL. Silverwood also missed a couple of ridiculous forward passes particularly for Wheeler's try.
