Sky have been conspicuous by their lask of Challenge Cup build up. Could it be down to the fact that they aren't showing it?

People of Warrington and Huddersfield be ashamed, shocking crowd, looks (and sounds) rubbish on TV.

It looked particularly poor when they did the wide shot of the Video Screen - that whole area looked very thinly spread

with a half empty wembley on display its a good job the BBC havent bothered promoting the game and have limited the coverage as much as they have. Would anyone be bothered if the CC disappeared out of the RL calendar or became a replacement for the Northern rail cup for the lower leagues. When it was played early in the year it was a pre season warm up and nothing more. Now its stuck inconguously in the build up to the play offs and the GF it isnt just an anachronism its a distraction from the real competition.

There is a match thread elsewhere, this one is about the attendance.

The number of empty seats is embarrassing, it has to be said.

The only people who care about a few empty seats are RL fans - they're obsessed with attendances.

i would rather watch hudds play in a half empty wembley than watch wigan - saints at a full wembley... but i am biased

Id sooner watch Hull at a near full Wembley than Hudds in a half full one.....oh hang on i have done.

There's got to be atleast 70,000 though.
