Maybe so but I am sure England just managed a win without Ackers.

Poland is nowhere near Wigan mate. He's got no chance.

stop It Saddy is it ok to pick Makinson and Welsby and Hill and Williams as they are Wiganers obviously 2 play for St Helens so them 2 are ok.
Do we drop everyone who has a connection to Wigan past players etc - Micky and Tomkins and Farnworth (sure he played for Pats) and Ackers ?
Do we now drop current players- Bateman and Cooper
Now do we sack Wane as he is a Wiganer and obviously in your one eyed view does not pick enough St Helens players and picks too many Wigan connected players.
This may come as a shock to you all of these players and coach are doing ok at the min.
When you watch England do you actually want them to win or if they lose at least you can say that Wigan player is crap the coach being a Wiganer is crap etc.
Take them Saints tainted glasses of and enjoy the ride as It is fantastastic and we seem to be doing ok even with those Wigan connected players.

Cant disagree with that,I just want the strongest squad if Wane thinks he is a better pick then he should pick him.
Like I have said we seem to be doing ok so maybe he is picking his strongest team, really nobody can disagree with that with the scorelines achieved so far.

Don’t forget that on top of it being bonfire night, there was a planned rail strike which resulted in me having to pay around 4 times more to get there and back and I’m sure would have influenced quite a few not to buy tickets.

To be clear I was referring to the 2013 semi. But yes it was on the official website then, which incidentally was much much better than the one being used this year.

Its hard to tell as theres definately been some iffy information from the World Cup Team at times. The tickets appear to be at the top of the 'quadrants' and the 3rd tier of the side stand which I think they were keeping off sale until sales were high enough...so not sure they really were giving sponsors these seats.
But anyway if you want cheap seats and just to be there id book today as sales will have a boost when the finalists confirmed, and goes without saying if England get there.

| Been some really poor games in this WC which is to be expected. Sadly RL rarely allows for an underdog story especially at International level.
Things heating up though with that NZ/Fiji game, and the women's match last night. I expect 3/4 semi finals will be close games with the Jillaroos hammering PNG.
I'd never watched a wheelchair game before, but how good is that??!!! Will definitely try to get to some Wigan games next season.
Hopefully England can make all 3 finals. (having already won one comp) If we do, then I wonder if we will manage to get other sports on board. The England Red Roses play in the Women's RUWC final tomorrow and have received a message of support from the Lionesses' captain. Hopefully they follow suit if we manage it.

Think it has been trialled before but in International RL the team that has just scored a try having to kick to the opposition may at least help level up the posession, but that of couse would be a big change to the game!
Samoa unexpectedly getting to the Semis the novelty of the Wheelchair cup and growth of the Ladies game has really boosted the World Cup this week. We just need a different winner than Australia to really make headlines.

I think the 6 again rule hasn't helped the smaller nations. They need a penalty to help them get upfield, 6 again doesn't help them

| That is one of the best games of Rugby League I have ever seen.
Hate to say it but Aussies did deserve to win, NZ could have had a bit better luck with the fifty fifties, but I think Klein got the big calls right, I didn't want him to, but he did.
