He made up lies all the time and called anyone who disagreed a rah rah troll.

He claims that Lyon and Mille's success from a very long time ago makes them heartland areas, maybe they once were but it doesn't make them one now. He gave me pages of abuse after every post on LU after I disagreed with his statement that Mille would get a SL side. They folded after half a season in the Elite and Lyon struggled along a few years before dropping down to Elite 2.

Let's just say he makes Dally look reasonable, he's about 10 times as bad, if not more.

I honestly never thought I'd say this but this site has gone completely down the drain, Dally has ruined it enough but if Calixte is on here too I guess totalrl is much more appealing

I looked up this shield, it is just the name of the trophy given to the winners of the French championship. Neither club have won the championship in over 50 years. He is obviously trying to be a dick. It's bleeding obvious that we all know that the French had a championship (and still do), playing silly buggers with the name of the trophy proves nothing.

with their RL tradition having Les Cats in peripgnan, then 3 big city teams sure would give it critical mass

Err yeah, clearly I was talking about the past. Note the "right now" and the "may have been" applied to Mille. I'm quite aware of the history of rugby league in Mille.

As for Lyon, I didn't know that they had ever won the championship but Lyon has never been a solid treiziste area with a history comparable to Mille and I have seen little that has contradicted that.

Anyway I'd put not knowing the name of the trophy given to the winners of the French championship a lot lower down the list of blunders than thinking that Stade Francais used to be the rugby league club Paris St Germain.

And you now know that Stade Francais aren't the same team as Paris St Germain.
