The current squad haven't done much wrong so why change things ? Also, i'm not convinced the Toronto side is that special in Championship terms and it will be interesting to see what changes will be made next season if they win promotion as expected. TO only changed one player and that was a one for one swap and they seem to be doing ok.

Toulouse had massive ten tries to three win over Rochdale 52-14 at Rochdale's home ground. This win was also despite missing stars such as ace winger Kuni Minga, hooker Kane Bentley and utility forward Constantine Mika. Toulouse now sit in second place on for and against, behind only Hull KR. Their position in the top four now seems assured, barring long term injuries to several key players.

Any chance of Catalans getting these stars on loan?

It was an impressive display by TO. Hornets were rubbish frankly and TO should have scored more if they had been smarter. Greg White also missing but Marguerite ok without looking 100% safe on the high kick. TO gifted Hornets at least one try due to indecision behind the posts yet again which must be worrying for Houles.
No injuries for TO which is important now with some big games coming up.

Catalans won't be in the top 8 unless the get rid of Frayssinous. Poor coach who has got out of jail because of the quality of players at his disposal. Give a decent coach the players Frayssinous has had and they are a top 4 side IMO

Great win for Toulouse. Rochdale have been superb this year and to hammer them at their place is a superb result for Toulouse.

Maybe but, it wont be the top 8 in Super League.
Greg Bird is a top player but, to pin your hopes on a winger is a little bit too optimistic, even for you.
Your forwards weren't interested against Wakefield on Saturday and of the 17 Catalan players on show, only Inu showed anything above the mediocre level that is the norm for "your" team.

Gregory Bird is the one who can and does inspire the Catalan pack when he is on the field.

In any case this thread is about the rising star team of Toulouse, not Catalans.

There's a few Catalan threads on here you seem to be avoiding Jean.

Toulouse won a game by two points against a Fax team that has struggled to get out of second gear all season, and that was with one of the clearest "no try" decisions (if we had a video ref) that you could imagine. Toulouse are a decent Championship team, but no more.

Fax are nowhere near having a team to compete well in the middle 8's, and neither are Toulouse. HKR are a notch above the rest of the Championship teams (albeit Fax gave them a scare last time out), but their only realistic chance is a one-off in the MPG when they'll need every piece of luck going for them to beat the worst of the worst in SL.

You are probably right but who are the four teams better than TO13 on current form ?

From what i've seen Fev looked fairly useful as did Swinton but the rest were ordinary and Batley , Dewsbury and Rochdale looked poor.

Toulouse may well finish 2nd in the Championship, but only HKR look capable of giving the SL sides a game in the middle 8's. As a competition, other than HKR and probably Dewsbury (I hope I don't have to change that after this weekend!) it's been pretty competitive.

It certainly wasn't very 'competitive' at Spotland last weekend.

TO are young and naiive, getting into the top four would be a minor miracle imo.
