In 2009 Rovers had 10(?) overseas players.

In 2013, Rovers will have 9 overseas players.

This is progress people, can't you see it? 10 to 9 is downwards, it's going down! By the 2029, following the current trend, we will be down to just 5 overseas players. A monumental effort for such a new club, entering just it's 7th SL season.

What's the big deal anyway? They are just coming through our youth system (NRL) so they will count as homegrown

As a KR fan i think he is the kind of player we have been missing this season. We are too nice, we need that nasty edge when it gets tough. However good Dobson and Green are they don't mix it with the big boys when it gets physical.

12 game ban

What did he do to pick up such a long ban?

2 separate incidents: a chicken wing tackle and a high tackle. Combined to give him a 12 game ban. Search it on a certain video site, sure its on there.

i just typed his name in a certain video site and he doesn't look to have too many friends in the NRL no wonder he's coming here

Burns is a much better player than Green, good signing for us. As for the 12 match ban,total joke. Following this there was a number of nasty head highs that barley got slaps in the wrist and in some cases nothing at all. the NRL judiciary is as a big a joke as the SL one!

His high shot was as deliberate an attack on the head as you'll ever see. He jumped in the air and took a swing. It was a bad one
