Well if a player is stretchered off and not fit to return and probably have to miss next game minimum due to concussion, is not worth a red then i dont now what is.

Exactly my point, the decision is not on the offense rather the outcome of the tackle. You can make contact with the jaw on one player and he's ok and on another damage is done. Same offence different outcome. Red for one nit the other.

Penalised Farrell for a bad PTB but has ignored plenty. To be fair some players are making the effort. Others are blatantly terrible PTB's and the ref has done nothing.

Pointless changing the rules when ref decides to ignore. Referee has been pretty bad all game.

Excellent probably is pushing it when you put it like that, has been a good effort to stay in it as long as they have. I agree though, some baffling decisions in the Wigan 20. Their obsession with going for two is even more bizarre when you look at how they’ve thrown the ball about.

Wigan clearly rusty after only playing 1 first team friendly again, but if we can get French involved more, I think we've a good chance this season. Manfredi has to come in for Burgess as soon as he's fit IMO.

Only the first game but I doubt Saints or Hull will be losing any sleep over either of those sides. Great effort from Warrington but they looked blunt every time they got near the Wigan line. French aside, Wigan were really poor and that has to be one of the worst debuts I’ve seen from George Burgess. I’d be concerned watching that from him if I were a Wigan.

Blake Austin absolutely toilet. Also , wire got roughly 3 pens in that last 10 minutes and didn't once kick for touch to gain 30+ metres.

As was stated before, the BMM shot on Hastings was a sloppy head on shot, the Hill shot on Powell was from behind against a defenceless player. Bit of a difference between those.

First game of the season so you cant expect teams tk be at their best. Both sides will be much better in a few weeks
