So you agree Ratu has been injured for months explaining why he couldn't even be considered to play let alone play, yet you choose to seize on the fact Ratu hasn't played much as some kind of stick to beat Rovers with.
You then think it strange that a former New Zealand international (still only 26, hardly past his prime) has been selected more when both were available? What world do you live in Smokey? ![CRAZY d040.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//d040.gif) When Ratu did play, did he really take his chance in the way Welham had previously in your opinion? After seeing his first few games did he really leave Morgan no option but to select him ahead of Webster?
Give it a rest Smokey, you're getting nowhere with this one. ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)

'" So is Jake Webster a first choice centre or not? Considering he has played 11 games this year for you at centre (out of 14) and Cockayne only 7(out of 23) so your point about playing Cockayne and Welham was disingenuous.
Just as it is to claim Ratu is a player you have brought through when at 22 there is a player you expect to be picked ahead of him, who has just signed a new contract.

Wrong, Ratu was going to be the starting centre in the very first game of the season with Webster at 6, Sadly he did a hamstring in the very last training session before the game.
Once fit he played against Huddersfield in round 3 and suffered a reoccurance of said Hamstring injury.
Again once he had recovered he played in the reserves as by this point he'd played once in ten weeks and had no match fitness, came in for the injured Welham in round 13 and then replaced the injured Webster in rounds 17, 18 and 19 before getting injured again
Oh and congratulations on Murrell, Fox and Watts on making the England train on squad, although no doubt they will have been England players long before Hull KR had anything to do with it no doubt

No, the problem here is you failing to accept that:
1. It is more likely that a former NZ International (still only 26 years old, hardly a has been) might be selected than an unproven player (regardless of nationality) given that you don't get selected for NZ by accident.
2. If Ratu had taken his chance, as Welham did, then it is most likely he would have kept the centre spot (the precendent is there with Welham)
3. With Ratu being injured for large parts of the season he could not have been selected in any event, but had he been fit he would probably have been kept out by Cockayne anyway (who has had another good season for Rovers).
By the way, I thought you wanted Rovers to sign "proven" Aussie/Kiwi players or have you changed your mind on that one too now? ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_lol.gif)

No, he had a chance to prove himself in training and in games just the same as anyone else. Do Leeds remove players from a winning team who are playing well just to give a chance to unproven English lads?
During this off season and in pre season games he will start at the same level as everyone else. It's up to him to make it impossible for Morgan not to choose him, not for Morgan to select him because he is English. Just like Welham did.
