I agree with Barry Mckenzie though, crabtree is crap. no better than what fielden is playing like now - and crabtrees on the top of his game and fieldens well...no need to go into that.

Also you seem to have neglected to mention that he is from a historic RL family. His granddad picked up a CC winners medal with Halifax.

He's obviously disadvantaged by not being allowed to wear a leotard, top hat and silver cape on the field of play.

At best crabtree is average, for a big man he dose,nt run his weight and ive never seen him bust a tackle. Seems to get brought to ground easily, and if he gets the ball away as he is falling then thats his game.

He had to go off 7 minutes into the second half, because he had just been smashed by Morley. He could hardly walk in a straight line on route to the dugout.

But yet he didn't come of worst?

That was a planned substitution, if you had played the game you would know he would have been told to take one more hard drive in before he was spelled. I would have Crabtree at Warrington as he is a useful player when used in the right way, he isn't the same type of forward as a Morley or Carvell. Utilising him running in the wide channels and using his height to get his arms free in the tackle he would be a real threat.

Now the peformances of Griffin and Mason, well...

I can guarantee I've played the game at a much much higher standard than you, and not for an internet message board.

And if that was the case, that was a poor 'planned' substitution. A waste of an interchange, he'd just had a rest at half time. Which must comfirm that he is very unfit.

Exactly. One of the best parts of his play is his ability to draw in a couple of tacklers and still get the offload away. He did that plenty of times on Saturday and I'm sure he'll be in contention for the England squad again in a few weeks time.
