It's part of the News & Events pack, which nearly everyone who has Sky will have. Several replay spots for NRL are showing as well.

Virgin Media doesn't have MSK though.

I dont have news and events but I used to get MSK, havent looked at it for a while, knowing my luck now therye showing something half decent I would imagine it will be though.

MSK is a re-brand for setanta or setanta ireland or something. I wonder if it's a permanent deal or whether they've struck something together until a proper deal with someone else has been thrashed out? Only thinking that because theres been no press about it.

The channel also has Newcastle v North Queensland down to be shown Live from 8:30am next Saturday.

Looks promising that we may finally have some NRL on our screens. I just hope we get it over here and it is not broadcast just in Ireland. Looking at their schedule, it is predominantly Irish sports based. We were only lucky enough to see state of origin last year on setanta Ireland, as setanta already held the NRL rights for the UK, but if something was shown on setanta Ireland ie F1 or premiership football that setanta did not have UK rights for then it was scrambled for British viewers.

Is MSK subscription only? Or does it come with the standard Sky sports package?

Great news would have prefered Sky to have picked it up but at least the rights issue has been sorted, anybody know if they will show Anzac test and State of Origin to ?

Its not on Virgin BT or Freeview.

But it is on FTA Sat which means you dont need to subscribe to sky to watch it.

However the last time I flicked this channel on it had a test card saying

Setanta PPV

So maybe they will be going as a PPV channel.

Normally they show a couple hours of GAA or sailing a week so they can stay on the SKY EPG.

I'm happy to have the NRL on MSK if they have are willing to broadcast 3 games a week, hopefully there is space for the monday night game.

There was still talk of one game going onto ESPN recently.

Any body body else noticed that the Sky Channel MSK 433 is showing Nrl matches from australia since satanta went out of business. Was very happy when i found this out .
