It was the first time I had seen the show and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the fact that RL was discussed at an intelligent level.

Over here, Sky and the BBC position everything at the beginner, which is fine at first, but then it starts to grate. Many of the people watching the matches are RL fans and understand the technicalities. I don't feel we have the balance right here.

Also, on the Brett Stewart issue, it was very refreshing to see that the NRL CEO and the panel were happy to discuss this issue, rather than holding back, which would definitely have happened here.

it didnt say which part, just that he'd turned it down. From what we saw of him here, he'd become a bit of a comedy item, instead of using him to give his knowledge of the game.

that last comment about comedy vs knowledge is the whole show hence its poor ratings.

totally agree. We all know that there are enough players ex & current who are naturally funny & they know their stuff regarding the game. There is no need for them to try to become comedy characters (Matty Johns is an irritating sh !t) when he's trying to be funny & failing miserably) but he does know his stuff when he's actually talking about the game.

Fatty Vautin just comes across as plain stupid, thinking it's funny getting names wrong etc... time for a change

I watched the first twenty minutes. I turned off after watching Karmichael Hunt trying to talk.

remember the special guest - the fly . as in the fly on the wall

recorded it on sky+ on seires link wouldnt play at first due to the message you get and wouldn't forward unless I went into the planner and movd the viewer defined 10 mins in.

Then it worked a treat.

I've been watching this on and off for years, its much better when you watch it on and off I think as it can be a bit tedious at times.
