Even though the RFL have you turned from what they originally told League Express, do Toulouse still think the same as what they have stated that they dont have to reach the GF?

Who at the RFL told Mr Ledger that Toulouse had the correct versions of events?

Where do Mr Lewis and Mr Wood sit within this shambles?

Is it any wonder we struggle to attract other sports fans to watch the greatest game of all? Neither the RFL media manager, supporters or the leading RFL weekly publication now know the rules for entry into SL 2012. Can you imagine this in football?

Finally if I was Toulouse I would also feel agrieved about not being able to play in the Northern Rail cup which represents a 50% chance of getting that golden ticket, how can that be fair to them?

Also why isnt the RFL's long term plan to create a French SL of say 10 clubs, just maybe if they did this we could replicate the other code and have our very own European Cup???

exactly. And thats the important part. 2 maybe 3 clubs are in real danger with regards to stadia.

One club is almost certain to be dropped, If Wakefield and Castleford both dont get a stadium how can we justify keeping in one and not the other?

How can we put 5 clubs on notice as it were then how can we risk only having three possible applicants? At least one of which really isnt Super League material as it stands

Instead of writing "Monday's report was clearly the result …" I should have said "Monday's report [isounds[/i like it was the result …", making it clear that I was speculating, and not going not on the LE story, which I'd not seen, but reports of it on here, which read like the story came from an RFL official and was confirmed by TO officials, rather than the other way round.

And if I'd been in Messrs Rylance or Sadler's shoes, presented with a story that originates in another published journal, has two sources within TO backing it up and has been confirmed by a phone call to the RFL media manager I'd have most definitely have run with it.

as a RL fan, im delighted with how well the game is doing

some of you guys seriously dont deserve to claim to be RL fans

I'm not a RL fan.. I'm a Widnes fan first and foremost. When I spend my money every week I do it to give it to my club. I'm also happy to support local amateur sides.
I used to be a RL fan too but this monstrosity that is franchising has removed every ounce of fairness from the sport. It causes fans from clubs that used to engage in friendly banter to take sides in constant bickering and encourages nothing but resentment.
It is someone's brain fart and not one person that I know can understand why a sport would adopt such a mindless exercise.
If the old system was in place now with more stringent financial checks, an enforced quota on the number of club trained players named in the playing squad and guidelines for ground standards none of this crap would be an issue.
Barrow in SL, Crusaders or Salford in the championship following on from last seasons finishing places no-one could or would argue about.
This system has done nothing but create the have's and the have not's.

The RFL are not a joke what they have done over the last few years has been (mostly) well judged. As I said before this is just the RFLs PR is terrible.

No one is trying to screw anyone over.

Only a troll would question if someone "deserved" to claim to be a RL fan.
