Let me try again. Eric Perez offered the game here a new player pool of professional NA RL players, and he offered the game here a paying NATV deal. More top players and more money was attractive to the clubs so they let them in.

But TWP delivered no players at all and not a cent of TV money. In doing so they lost $Tens of Millions?

Funnily enough he was going to organise the conversions in which grid iron players converted to RL "pretty quickly" into a reality TV show he was going to sell the Canadian TV..........

So Perez did say he would generate TV money not "In a year" but right from from the off.

When so many people shout out about TWP or Catalans crowds because these clubs fail in the area of hard cash from TV and quality player development then others start to believe it was all about crowds.

So for the avoidance of doubt Catalans were brought in to provide French professionals for the revival of Anglo French tests

This is what the game wanted to get back to not 13 non French players filling first team jerseys at Les Cats, and two blokes wearing Beret's as the away crowd every time Catalans come to town.

As for TWP quality NA players were promised right from the start, but the start was one token NA player Ryan Burroughs. Once the first season was over and it was apparent the RFL didn't do anything then the start of building an Anglo-Aussie side began, and any idea of junior development fizzled to nothing. Burroughs then got his marching orders.

RUGBY LEAGUE IN CANADA is a totally different thing to TWP, it's the Canadian RL looking to build the game in Canada not act as a plaything for a bored mega rich (and still is) Aussie........
