Justin Holbrook was an assistant to Trent Robinson at the Sydney Roosters right before he was appointed as head coach by St. Helens. I think that the St Helens administration have great respect for Trent Robinson.

Jason Ryles and Jason Demetriou the other two possibilities. One of the three I’ve been told, O’Brien the strong favourite currently.

Don't think Fages is good enough to go over there.

Morgan Knowles however would kill it over there IMO.

His English lets him down occasionally, I’m sure he meant to say that they were three (trois) of the better coaches.

So they weren't queuing up at all, then.

It was on the cards whilst he has been here I think he has come across well professional and generally an OK guy if you ignore his st helens connection.

He has certainly turned their fortunes around and got them performing. The players seem to like him I wonder how it will affect them either unsettling them and they drop off a bit or if they will come together and send him off with a few bits of silver.

Forgot the season had finished.

Well, it had for you at this point last year, who's to say it won't be the same again, Groundhog Day.

Currently only Bellamy and Robinson are the stand out coaches in the NRL. Bennett and Stuart have not won anything in years.

Neither will win another Grand Final.

Back to Holbrook. The Gold Coast has proved a graveyard for aspiring NRL coaches. Hope he does not meet the same fate.

Holbrook needs to be given carte Blanche to get rid of players with a bad attitude. If he does that he has a chance.

The problem is, his best player, Jai Arrow, wants to leave

Good coach Holbrook but has always bottled the big games. Only ever been to one final with Saints after a bye agaisnt part timers in Halifax. Is that good enough given the squad he has? It'll be interesting to see how he does over at Titans as they are easily the worst team in the NRL. Will definitely make or break him.
