Not a bad squad from Cas.

You lost by 30 points and it was a score line that flattered you, it was an embarrassing performance from Cas. You definitely are not a top side and that remains the case with a fully fit squad, you’ve got some good forwards and Trueman has potential but the rest of the squad is pretty average. Can you honestly see Cas winning a trophy?You have however, got a very good coach who has you punching above your weight which is why you’ll likely finish third. The gap though, from 2nd to 3rd is huge.

The pitch looks awful? Used to be good at Leeds or are they using it as a car park again?

Hurrell in full flow is great to watch. That Cas right edge isn’t Super League standard, defensively at least.

Looks like Cas are another player down for a couple of weeks. McShane will surely pick up a ban for that.

Myler should have been sent off for his spear tackle off the ball on Foster which Thaler just gave a knock on for. Holdroyd will get a ban for decapitating Moors too.

Minikin is a damn good winger but a bang average centre. Clare is league 1 standard...As evidenced by the fact he was off to Donny until Cas gave him a call.

No one can say for sure, but just like you though he has an opinion; one I have to say I agree with.
This Cas squad is finished & needs major work. The writing was on the wall last season & the club, as usual, have sat on their hands with regard to recruitment.

Don't know why Thaler didn't card either McShane or Mylar there.

The fact Thaler made Moors (who went off for a concussion test) get up and play the ball is nothing short of a disgrace.

I wouldn't say it needs major work, but then again you are losing to team with Sutcliffe and Myler as the halfbacks.

Replacing the likes of Lynch & Webster with Clare & Clarkson is just bad squad building though.
