The Warrington fans are embarrassing themselves with the amount of moaning they’re doing and the diving at the play the ball from the Warrington players isn’t great either.

Get off of it, judging if a player plays at a ball is one of the hardest thing to do as a referee. Especially stood in an awkward position, he made the call and having said that it was probably a 50/50 call.

If you think that’s a 50/50 call then you don’t understand the rules. It was clear that Massey hadn’t played at the ball, an easy decision.

Minikin is not a centre. Defensively, he’s nowhere near good enough.
I suspect we’ll see Alex Foster moved to centre and Minikin or Clare on the wing in the second half.

Tight game with the difference being Cas’ pathetic right edge defence. Considering the amount of absentees they’ve done well so far. Warrington might be winning but they look poor and are massively overrated. Blake Austin has yet again done nothing.

Our right edge is awful and most Cas fans know that. Add to that our forward injuries we just ain't playing well. I expect to lose this and we will still be top 3 anyway so not a big issue.

At no point does Massey play at the ball he naturally moves his leg and anyone with functioning eyes can see that. It’s very concerning when a referee like yourself can’t see that.

This could still be a real blood bath. Our bench was never gonna compete with wires. Need to do a bit of damage limitation , dust ourselves down and get some bodies back. Whatever the score here, I'm still confident we will be top 5, but hopefully no more injuries !

You know what.... Fair enough we have lost but we haven't been overly outplayed even though we are thin on our squad. I will take this result as long as we beat Salford next week.

Seen Shenton have better games but fair play to Cas, they could have capitulated but have kept going.

Looks like a Warrington win, but not too disheartening for Cas. I expected Wire to run away with it when they went 24-4 in front, but Cas dug in and closed the gap even though the game was gone.
That right edge has been exposed and I don’t think we’ll see a Minikin and Clare partnership again. Minikin is not a centre and we don’t attack much down that side too much anyway. I think Foster will be put there to sure up that edge in defence.
We conceded three tries on the right edge and bombed two “own goal” tries.
Warrington deserved to win, but that’s not a disasterous Cas performance.

Expected to lose so not too fussed. Glad we kept going to end. Once we get Millington, McMeekan, Milner, Clark and Oli Holmes and co back then we will be back to our best.

Cas gave a decent account of themselves considering the players missing and some horrific refereeing. The likes of Clare, Minkin and Shenton were all really poor and let the rest of their team down though.

Warrington were clinical but unimpressive overall, given the odds were massively in their favour. The way they’ve been talked about, you’d think we’re seeing one of the best teams in SL history but they look nowhere near that level. Same goes for Blake Austin, not the superstar he’s been made out to be. A fully fit Cas side win that game comfortably.

Minikin is a poor centre. His decision making in defence and attack is really poor. James Clare is fine outside a good centre, but when Minikin is all over the place he’s left with an impossible job.
Essentially, we had two wingers defending the right edge. When Foster moved over there and Minikin shifted to the wing, we looked much better in attack and defence.
For me Minikin and Clare should be competing for the wing spot. Foster is our best centre option and I think we’ll see him there next week.
