Ive watched 4 Nrl games this year, one was good the rest have been massive boreathons. It really is not all that.

Just looking at the results from 3 weeks of action I see there have so far been 12 games which have been decided by 6 or less points. 12 games in 3 rounds going down to the final whistle.

Super league has had 9 after seven rounds.

I see the Warriors won again. Coming from behind in Canberra. Shouldn't really get too excited but starting to think the Warriors have a real team this season.

the comp is shaping up nicely so far, quite unpredictable - dragons warriors and tigers all punching above their weight and the eels raiders and sharks disappointing. slow start too for the cowboys though they have had possibly their hardest 2 games already. i also like the look of the dragons - nicely balanced team. as well as the halves they have a good hooker and dufty at fullback looks a future origin player. possibly the only factor against them is a lack of depth

I actually really like the idea of getting defences to stand on the line rather than allow them to be ridiculously offside so long as they are a long way from the PTB (look at almost any defensive set from SL or NRL last year and its plain for everyone to see) - its one of the reasons scoring gets harder when close to the line. But if we want teams to do that and stop giving away penalties then refs need to start binning them. A penalty just isn't enough of a punishment to make teams stop.

Anyone watching rabbits bulldogs? Dogs knock on rabbits get it and knock on 29 yards down field same play, bulldogs ball. Do they not have the free play?

Also dogs awarded a penalty, dogs player throws the ball are Burgess' head quite viciously, no punishment. Could the ref have overturned his initial decision? How's GI been playing did the rabbits this year? Looked quiet in the 20 I've seen.

I'm not sure they have different rules but that particular ref always winds me up each weekend in whatever match he's at. GI reminds me of Sam Tomkins they are both crocked and overpaid.

GI is still alright, shadow of his former self though, just not as explosive.

How about that missed conversion by Foran? I haven't seen that for about 20 years.

Recorded the South Sydney Bulldogs game, recording finished with about 4 mins left to play and 2 points between the sides.

I’m starting to get a bit fed up and concerned about the future of the game with the amount of diving that’s going on in the sport at the moment.

The Refs really are not messing about. Come off the line early and it's a penalty.

The players really need to sort it out. It's not the ref's fault.
