Kiyan, it's just a response to 'a few fans' mentioning how bad we were, it's just the 1st game of the season. If we'd have won, I wouldn't have been booking my grand final tickets, and the fact that we have got 'stuffed' hasn't made me depressed. The last 20 minutes of the 1st half was 'scary' I admit, but there is still 22 games left to look forward to. After all it's 12 years since we weren't allowed in/failed to get promoted to SL. Cas should have won by 60 really. Once Leigh are found out a bit more someone will get 80+ points

Leigh looked every bit the championship club they are. Luckily for them, Wakefield will be even worse and will likely go down. Thought cas looked decent ish, nothing special.

Cas started well, then after 15 minutes realised how easy it was going to be, and lost a bit of structure.

Leigh looked bad. First 15 minutes was pure passion, like a banzai charge. After that, pretty bad. Very hard to see them finishing anything other than a bad 12th.

They didn't lose structure, they changed structure. They tired out Leigh and then opened up their play, they started pushing the ball out wide and made gaps all through the Leigh defence

Not a prayer imo. Obviously biased but we have a better squad than at least Leigh, Widnes & Hudds. Reckon we'll be looking at 8th rather than 12th tbh

As for Leigh, they will definitely improve but, with their early run of fixtures, IF they get a few more batterings, confidence may be a problem.

I doubt our 'fake' French lover Jean commented on Leigh Centurions last season, when we won 'all but one' of our Middle 8's matches (and that also applies to others on here)

There was something fishy about that game. I think that Castleford deliberately took their foot off the gas against their opponents late in the second half. Otherwise the score would have been 60-4. My hunch is that Sky didn't want the embarrassment of a cricket score in a televised game. Certainly the RFL should investigate, though I am sure if they do there will be a cover up. After all, it was the RFL idea to have P & R which has led to the embarrassment of Leigh in Super League.
