I sincerely hope your club can rid itself of these idiots. There's nothing I love more than the Rugby League family, and I want to welcome away fans down without fear that there's going to be trouble. I can't say I'm looking forward to Widnes' next visit to LSV as it stands.

I live in Leigh Town Centre, and heard a few 'police sirens' around 20 min ago.....unless it's our local 'nutters' kicking off !!!

Widnes fans also attacked the Cas team bus with stones and bottles. Players tweeting about it.

Find it hard to believe police weren't looking after official buses if trouble was as wide spread as said.

The attack on the players coach was as they arrived before the game, outside the Wren pub.

There was a steward in front of us who had been really helpful to everyone and some prick started pushing him then butted him.

Ashamed to be a Widnes fan today, I'm glad we don't get into many big games as the number of numpties increases tenfold.

When Wakefield played at Widnes earlier this season an elderly Wakey fan was verbally abused by a group of youths. On walking back to our transport we had foul and abusive language hurled in our direction. Its the one away game I really hatezattending. A few idiots givung the club a bad name.

Plenty of them with Widnes shirts on causing bother elsewhere around the stadium.

Oh don't get me wrong these are widnes fans but they probably aren't regulars. The usual 'Its a semi on the tele shall we go and have a laugh' brigade.

A woman had to be treated at the side of the pitch after a Widnes fan knocked her out cold.

Funny, every time the cameras cut to the Widnes fans, they seemed to have several beers.

How much did us Hull fans get fined for the semi final at Huddersfield? I expect the same for Widnes. In fact, looking at some of those pictures, they were worse.

The aftermath of the Hull-Leeds debacle was Hull fans taking action to clean up the club. Hopefully Widnes can do the same.

the 1st point about the beers, Dave Woods on coomentary kept banging on about how wonderful and great they were singing etc but in reality we all know when that starts happening when your team is getting smashed it will 9/10 lead to those 'enjoying' themselves taking it one step further, i sat and watched the game alone and i knew very well that at the end of the game Widnes fans would be on the pitch because of how they were acting ...they may have been noisy Mr Woods but they were far from 'great' !

Ginger ninja in the black jacket and blue jeans should be easily recognisable. certainly since he appeared in the photo two posts above kicking the mascots head about. He should be a worried man tonight.

Honest question, could a club be banned from a competition for a year for this sort of behaviour?

How many times is this now with Widnes fans? Perhaps banning Widnes from taking part in the Challenge Cup next year might be the severe kick up the that those fans need. Yes they don't represent ALL, but every since they've come back to SL they've brought trouble.
