he can take a running jump, not often I wish injury on a player but I wouldn;t shed any tears in his case. Not against him earning whatever he can but to walk out mid season whilst under contract is a disgrace and reflection of the mans character.

I repeat...he is not in the AB's on merit...he is there due to NZRU trying to get a ROI on their investment. I think he will be a liability in their midfield on the Northern Hemisphere tour and that will be that...he will miss out on a potential Second World Cup Winners medal...........a fitting thing if it happens and even more so if the Kiwis can prevail in 2013....

He is a Kiwi. The All Blacks are a New Zealand institution and arguably the biggest name in world rugby. If you think of an international RU side the chances are you think of the All Blacks. If you play rugby and are a New Zealander you would give anything to pull on the legendary all black jumper and represent your country. You only have to go round the antipodean bars I drink in right here in West London. Most Kiwis wear the All Blacks jersey. It's rightly become a symbol of New Zealand especially to those who travel O/S.. the same as the Springbok one has for Saffas and Wallabies ones are for Aussies. You wont see many Kiwis wearing their countries RL jersey socially... and thats despite them being the current world champions. It's all blacks or nothing.

Sadly it's the same with the Wallabies jumpers... most Aussies in London own one... me included.... its one of the things you make sure you have before you go overseas....even though the Kangaroos ones are far better looking. Even if you don't particularly like rugby you will see heaps of antips wearing AB's, Springboks or Wallabies jerseys about the place. All 3 of those jerseys are iconic and it doesnt matter where in the world you go... virtually everyone recognises them immediately.


As a professional sportsman playing rugby league or rugby union all iit takes is one bad injury and you are finished.

If Sonny Bill wants to represent his country and pull on the famous all black jersey whilst he has got the chance... good on him I say.
