Yeah, I think one of the five best coaches in the history of the game is wrong and that Super League is a glorious competition of an incredibly high standard and Gould is wrong and geez I love these Angus Burgers they have at maccas right now I usually but two of them and a chocolate thick shake but it just depends really because I know they are not good for your health but who cares.

i wouldnt say SL is as good as park football, more like our NSW Cup.

its really good seeing players like demetriou who could never make it in the NRL having such long SL careers

and SL is also an excellent proving ground for untried aussie coaches as well

If your game is so great maybe you can explain why so many high profile Aussie international players who come over here dont make the grade- King, Mullins....... I could go on and on

Hell players feel stuffed, have their careers over, they head to SL and come back and feel refreshed.

The history of who's game, not ours that's for sure. That title belongs to people like Ken Trail, Alex Murphy, Peter Fox, John Monnie, Frank Myler and Tony Smith to name a few. Gould and his alleged efforts don't register here where the NRL is just a side show, comprendee!

We are talking about the 'superior' NRL here, where former Leigh reserve grader Aaron Heremaia is starting every week, Ryan Tandy is rated as a promising forward, people like Tonie Carroll and Shane Elford are still running around, Colin Best was named winger of the year, Ian Henderson is a star player etc...

when you watch SL its watching rugby

when you watch NRL its watching rugby league.

Australia, the last 3 international events have shown that they are more likely to lose a final.

When you watch the NRL you are watching the Australian version of Rugby league.

When you watch the Super League you are watching the genuine article.
Seeing it was the English who invented rugby league and its rules then surely any interpretation of those rules made by the English makes it the true form of Rugby league and not the ised version the Australians play.

Quality is irrelevant in this argument, super league is far more attractive to watch and much more entertaining. Whether it is conducive to producing a test match winning side is also irrelevant.

As for Gould he is without doubt a racist!
For the so-called intelligent man he has great difficulty in containing his utter contempt for all things English. Even when forced by the likes of Adrian Morley into saying something positive he does so through gritted teeth.

Time and time again during his broadcasts he fails to hide and in some cases doesn't even attempt to hide his hatred.
