As for Toulouse beating Batley, no real surprise there. Batley are dire, I predicted pre season they'd be a relegation candidate and I still believe that they'll be down the bottom 3 come the end of the season. need to improve quickly or they'll be in Championship 1 Next season

It's obvious AP's knowledge of the Championship is very poor to get excited about this result. Batley have huge problems both on and off the field at the moment and I've read many posts on here and other forums saying Toulouse will get better as the season goes on. One result doesn't make a season though! If Toulouse get in the play-offs and finish the season off well, then make a thread then!

I have it on good authority from a top secret person within the RFL (my mum's a cleaner there) that they've paid Batley to finish bottom this year to save Toulouse from relegation.

Yes, it is on tv, but only on Orange, in France. The game is being played at Blagnac Rugby Union ground. Blagnac is a suburb of Toulouse and the team were last season in the FRU second tier, but were relegated down two levels into an amateur division, owing to financial naughtiness. They have a couple of lads who played for Toulouse last year in their squad.

You can watch on the Orange internet site, but only if you can fool it into thinking that your IP address is in France.

Is it possible to do that if you are not in France?

There could be a chance that several Dragons fringe players will join Toulouse after the local comp ends which would ideally give them much needed game time in a tougher comp than the LER which would better prepare them for a topside call up

I would hope that a couple of these could be forwards. Toulouse will need a top pack to challenge Whitehaven and the other top Championship sides.

a few weeks ago toulose got belted and people said they didnt deserve to be there.

clearly now they do, plus that win is a nice plus for their for and against.

i expect in coming year for toulose to quickly dominate NL1 and then push higher
