Warrington haven't poached anyone. I'm not a 100% sure if this is true and someone can tell me if i'm wrong, but the scholarship is different to your academy. As far as i'm aware, your scholarship is made up of local products. So if i played for a Bradford junior club, i would play for Bradford's scholarship system even if i suported Leeds and wanted to play for them. Once Scholarships are up then you are avauilable to sign for a club you choose, your effectively a free agent. Thats how i understand it but i could be completely wrong.
So just because they were on Leeds scholarship, they won't actually Leeds players.

I think when Leeds offer a Signing-On Fee then Warrington Offer a 10x that Signing-On Fee that sounds like are pretty much poaching the players to me.

Fine. And we develop our own players and Hudds or Wire or someone else with a rich owner is able to entice them away - or we inflict it on ourselves. There is a post on a thread on RAB showing a pretty good team made up entirely of ex-Bradford products. Had we have managed to keep most of them, we would be telegraphing how Bulls were able to manage without all but the odd marquee overseas signing.

A combination of the exchange rates, the loss of the image rights etc tax avoidance/evasion mechanism and the increasing NRL salary cap means that the only way you will entice top-level NRL stars to SL in future is if some other means of doing it has been found. Doubtless some clubs will find a way. Bradford as a club (like some others lacking wealthy backers) has very little room to manouevre financially. If we do not get some better performances on the field very soon, there will BE no Bradford. And, sadly, the players who might have ensured we were not in the current position are -to a significant extent - playing for other clubs. So what alternative is there?

If you are so clever, can you share your solution with us? A solution that ensures Bulls will still be here in a year or two? Because I am buggered if I can see one.

It's great that you choose Bradford to have a dig about too. We contribute no quality players to SL from our academy. That's why the England captain is a product of our academy, Sam Burgess one of the best forwards in the world is too. We have a young second rower by the neame of Elliott Whitehead who has played over 50 consecutive games for us, the same can be said for Craig Kopzcak.

you can play for whatever scholarship you want if you play in bradford but support wigan and they want you then you are free to go there, for example 3 lads from halifax have been at warrington since u15, only rule is you can only have 6 out of area players at that level, because halifax dont have a scholarship you can have as many of them as you want hudds had around 4 from fax last yr at 16's

Rovers aren't currently talking directly to the paper and I've seen nothing official on it. Plus Fox has another year on his contract so even if the club have opened the door, he mightn't choose to walk through it.
